Featuring The Law of Sustained Love™ and The Model of Blocked Becoming™

At GiftedBecoming™, we recognize that some minds experience the world differently—thinking deeply, feeling intensely, and processing information with remarkable complexity.

Traditional learning and performance models often fail these learners. Why? Because they’re built for linear thinkers—not for those whose cognition is layered, emotionally attuned, and internally rich.

Our approach is different.

GiftedBecoming™ isn’t about forcing you to adapt to a system that was never made for you. It’s about honoring the way you think—and helping you transform your inner complexity into cognitive clarity, emotional regulation, and sustainable achievement.

Whether you’ve been formally identified as gifted, suspect you might be, or simply know your mind works differently, this is a space where your thoughtfulness isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated.

ROOTED IN RADICAL BEHAVIORISM

The Behavioral Neurodivergent Learning Model™ (BNLM™) integrates behavioral science, emotional regulation, and gifted cognition into one adaptive framework.

Unlike approaches that separate behavior from emotion, we recognize that your thoughts, inner language, emotional intensity, and even overthinking are all behaviors—influenced by reinforcement, learning history, and context.

We don’t just talk about “mindset.”

We analyze and shape behavior—including the private ones.

Our methods are grounded in observable, functional change:

  • Stimulus control to create high-success environments

  • Reinforcement systems that sustain momentum

  • Response-effort strategies that reduce resistance and restore flow

TWO CORE COMPONENTS OF THE FRAMEWORK

🦋 The Law of Sustained Love™

A radical concept rooted in behavior analysis and emotional science:

Admiration and felt worthiness are not luxuries—they are sustaining reinforcers.

This law reframes confidence, motivation, and resilience as relationally dependent variables. When learners feel admired, chosen, and safe, their capacity to become expands.

🧩 The Model of Blocked Becoming™

This model exposes what happens when inner growth stalls.

Performance anxiety, perfectionism, doubt, and fear of judgment can interrupt becoming—especially in minds prone to depth and introspection.

The model provides a lens and a language to diagnose internal bottlenecks and reignite agency through compassionate behavior change.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN THROUGH GIFTEDBECOMING™

• Navigate internal verbal behavior like self-talk, overanalysis, and spiraling thoughts

• Use shaping and self-monitoring techniques aligned with your thinking style

• Shift from freeze or over-effort into aligned, sustainable action

• Reframe doubt, burnout, and sensitivity into usable behavioral cues

• Reclaim your confidence in high-stakes testing, learning, or leadership environments

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

For decades, it was assumed that gifted or quick learners didn’t need help studying, regulating, or succeeding. But deep thinkers often face a paradox:

they’re praised for their brilliance, yet overwhelmed by pressure.

GiftedBecoming™ was created to break that cycle.

It offers tools, not just insights. Systems, not just slogans.

And a new behavioral language for the learners who think—and feel—too deeply for conventional solutions.

WHY GIFTEDBECOMING™ IS BEHAVIOR-ANALYTIC—NOT MENTALISTIC

This isn’t pop psychology. It’s radical behaviorism applied with heart.

We treat inner experiences as observable, contextual behaviors—not mysterious forces. That means we can shape them.

Our toolkit includes:

  • Private event analysis

  • Self-reinforcement techniques

  • Contingency design based on real data from your learning history

The result? Behavioral science you can use in real life, without watering down your depth.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Lisangelee Velázquez, M.S. is the founder of GiftedBecoming™ and the originator of the Behavioral Neurodivergent Learning Model™, The Law of Sustained Love™, and The Model of Blocked Becoming™.

She holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and integrates her lived experience as a gifted, twice-exceptional learner with clinical training, emotional intelligence, and a systems-thinking mind.

Lisangelee created GiftedBecoming™ to bridge the gap between complexity and structure—between intellectual fire and emotional safety.

Her mission is simple:
